Michigan Premier Events CEO Receives Mighty Downtown Lansing Hero Award

Thursday, September 17th Downtown Lansing Inc. hosted it's Evening of Excellence awards celebrating downtown heroes who have made an impact towards downtown Lansing, Michigan. The Evening of Excellence Awards was hosted in a drive-in format followed by a FREE drive-in Super Hero Film. This year Downtown Lansing Inc. honored each of there Evening of Excellence recipients an award and honored each as a superhero character. Downtown Lansing Inc. awarded Michigan Premier Events very own founder and CEO Ashlee R. Willis with the Mighty Downtown Hero Award. Mighty Downtown Hero Award recognizes an individual who works day in and day out to help promote culture and sustainability in Lansing, Michigan. Willis was also honored as the avenger character "Storm" for being mighty, strong & fierce. Willis helped Downtown Lansing with a fresh approach to the traditional Taste of Downtown Lansing event helping to promote ways people can safely engage with the community and small businesses during the pandemic for the very first Lift Up Local event. Willis also brought on a new partnership of ambassadors to downtown Lansing to help engage the community and highlight small businesses during the months of Lift Up Local.
