OPEN POSITIONS

SALES & EVENT COORDINATOR​ (PART TIME POSITION)


We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Sales & Event Coordinator to join our team. This dual-role position requires a proactive individual who is equally passionate about client relationship-building and executing flawless events. The ideal candidate will play a key role in growing event sales, managing client accounts, and coordinating impactful experiences from conception through completion. Strong sales acumen, customer service excellence, and attention to detail are essential.

Core Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Relations

  • Proactively generate and qualify new event leads through networking, referrals, and outreach.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing tailored proposals and solutions.

  • Prepare and present sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients to support repeat business and referrals.

  • Upsell value-added services and enhancements that align with client goals and event objectives.

  • Maintain and track a sales pipeline using CRM tools or sales tracking systems.

  • Meet or exceed event sales targets and contribute to the organization’s overall growth strategy.

 

Event Planning & Execution

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of events including logistics, timelines, vendor relations, and on-site operations.

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless event execution.

  • Coordinate vendor contracts, venue agreements, permits, and insurance requirements.

  • Develop event marketing and promotional strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.

  • Oversee event set-up and breakdown, ensuring all details align with client expectations.

  • Provide exceptional guest services and on-site leadership during events.

  • Conduct post-event evaluations and client follow-ups to assess satisfaction and gather feedback.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in event sales, coordination, or related roles in hospitality or corporate event planning.

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close contracts and drive revenue.

  • Experience in managing event budgets and maximizing ROI.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with clients and vendors.

  • High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task under pressure.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines, tasks, and deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and event planning tools.

  • Familiarity with hospitality operations, catering, or banquet services is a plus.

  • Knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies related to event engagement.

  • A creative mindset with a passion for delivering unforgettable experiences.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.

​ONSITE EVENT SERVICE ASSISTANT (CONTRACT POSITION)


Michigan Premier Events is seeking a reliable Onsite Event Service Assistant to support the execution of events. This contract role is focused on providing day-of leadership and logistical coordination to ensure events run smoothly and meet MPE’s standards of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with event setup (day before), lead day-of execution, and support post-event breakdown (including the following day, if needed)

  • Attend relevant meetings in preparation for the event

  • Serve as the onsite liaison between vendors, clients, and the MPE team

  • Oversee timeline management and ensure all deliverables are met to MPE standards

  • Provide real-time logistical support and effective communication across all stakeholders

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event coordination or logistics

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and direct onsite staff

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering exceptional event experiences

  • Professional demeanor when interacting with clients, vendors, and team members

  • Capable of lifting/moving event equipment and standing for extended periods

SOCIAL COMMUNITY MANAGER (CONTRACT POSITION)

 

Michigan Premier Events is looking for a social community manager that will focus on engaging audiences across social media networks to increase brand loyalty and grow audience connections. This role will play a critical part in enhancing our online presence, engaging with our dedicated fan base, and promoting our team's values and activities. If you're a social media enthusiast with a passion for elevating audience engagement, grow connections and increase brand awareness by building a loyal online community, we want to hear from you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow our social media presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Threads, and TikTok.

• Create, schedule, and post engaging content that aligns with our brand and objectives, including written copy, images, videos, etc.

• Analyze social media performance, track key metrics, and provide insights for continuous improvement.

• Engage with fans, answer inquiries, and build a loyal online community.

• Collaborate with the content team to produce multimedia content that resonates with our audience.

• Assist in developing and implementing social media advertising campaigns.

• Assist in data analysis and reporting of digital product marketing efforts.

• Create content with videos and photographs

• Respond to DMs, comments, and engagement

• Edit videos

• Research and stay on top of social media trends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong analytical mindset with acute attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exposure to digital marketing domain areas – Website builders, SEO, SEM, Social Insights and Analytics 

• Graphic design experience
