EVENT & MARKETING OPERATIONS COORDINATOR (PART TIME POSITION)
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Event and Marketing Operations Coordinator to join our team. Must have 2 years of experience in corporate event planning and marketing. This dual-role position requires a proactive individual who is equally passionate about client relationship-building and executing flawless events. The ideal candidate will play a key role in growing event sales, managing client accounts, and coordinating impactful experiences from conception through completion. Strong sales acumen, customer service excellence, and attention to detail are essential.
Core Responsibilities:
Sales / Client Relations

Proactively generate and qualify new event leads through networking, referrals, and outreach.

Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing tailored proposals and solutions.

Prepare and present sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients to support repeat business and referrals.

Upsell value-added services and enhancements that align with client goals and event objectives.

Maintain and track a sales pipeline using CRM tools or sales tracking systems.

Meet or exceed event sales targets and contribute to the organization’s overall growth strategy.
Events, Marketing & Execution

Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of events including logistics, timelines, vendor relations, and on-site operations.

Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless event execution.

Coordinate vendor contracts, venue agreements, permits, and insurance requirements.

Develop event marketing and promotional strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.

Oversee event set-up and breakdown, ensuring all details align with client expectations.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in event sales, coordination, or related roles in hospitality or corporate event planning.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CEO INTERNSHIP
Position Overview
Michigan Premier Events is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant Intern to support the CEO. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in executive-level operations, event management, and business strategy within a fast-paced events environment. The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct administrative support to the CEO, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments

Assist with internal and external communications, including drafting emails, memos, and presentations

Support planning and execution of events, meetings, and special projects

Conduct research and compile data to assist in decision-making and strategic planning

Prepare reports, agendas, and meeting materials

Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders

Help manage travel arrangements and itineraries as needed

Qualifications
