Event & Marketing Manager

 

Qualifications

  • Passion for planning and executing events including webinars, conferences, meetings and community events. 

  • Experience building comprehensive webinar programs including topic curation, slide building, and the marketing operations execution of landing pages, emails, and analytics

  • Experience in event coordination and management

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and hit deadlines

  • Results-driven, consistently achieving or exceeding goals

  • Is a self-starter who is process-driven and maintains a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Adaptive and Collaborative

  • Experience in coordinating and managing webinars 

  • 3+ years of experience in event coordination and management

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Proficiency with webinar and marketing technology platforms (i.e Zoom, Hubspot, Asana, etc.
     

    • Responsibilities

      • The purpose of the Event Manager is to drive lead generation, customer engagement, and brand awareness through carefully planned and expertly executed webinars and events

      • The Event Manager will be directly responsible for the strategic development and operational execution of all webinars, in person events, and some marketing operations activities

      • This includes managing a comprehensive webinar and in-person event calendar, developing topics, coordinating logistics, crafting promotional campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement

      • The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align event strategies with overall marketing goals, ensuring each initiative is executed seamlessly and delivers maximum value

      • Enjoys working in an agile, dynamic and fast-paced  environment

      • Develop and execute a comprehensive event  strategy to support product launches, demand generation, and thought leadership

      • Coordinate to identify key topics, speakers, and content

      • Manage all aspects of webinar production, including scheduling, promotion, registration, and post-event follow-up. 

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Plan, organize, and manage a calendar of events including conferences, trade shows, webinars, and virtual events

  • Coordinate all event logistics such as venue selection, vendor management, and on-site support

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for each event.

Marketing Operations and Promotion:

  • Manage all marketing operations aspects of events: landing pages, emails, webinar platform, reports, and project management tool

  • Create and implement marketing campaigns to promote events and webinars across multiple channels (email, social media, website, etc.)

  • Collaborate with the team to produce high-quality promotional materials, including invitations, landing pages, invitation emails, and follow-up emails

  • Creation of video and creative assets for promotions

  • Manage all tasks and activities in the project management platform

  • Define scope, timelines, and owners

  • Communicate frequent updates on project status and elevate blocks quickly to ensure deadlines are met.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the team and cross-functionally to coordinate key stakeholders, communicate responsibilities, scope, and timeline

  • Collaborate with team on key events for promotion and follow-up

  • Track and analyze event performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement

  • Provide detailed reports and insights to management and stakeholders.

Vendor and Partner Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key vendors, partners, and industry associations to partner on webinars and conferences

  • Manage swag, prints, shipments and event materials (such as booth, banners, table cloths, etc…)

  • Proven track record of delivering growth through webinars and in-person events

  • Demonstrated success in managing webinars large-scale events and from concept to completion

Social Community Manager 

 

Michigan Premier Events is looking for a social community manager that will focus on engaging audiences across social media networks to increase brand loyalty and grow audience connections. This role will play a critical part in enhancing our online presence, engaging with our dedicated fan base, and promoting our team's values and activities. If you're a social media enthusiast with a passion for elevating audience engagement, grow connections and increase brand awareness by building a loyal online community, we want to hear from you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow our social media presence on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Threads, and TikTok.

• Create, schedule, and post engaging content that aligns with our brand and objectives, including written copy, images, videos, etc.

• Analyze social media performance, track key metrics, and provide insights for continuous improvement.

• Engage with fans, answer inquiries, and build a loyal online community.

• Collaborate with the content team to produce multimedia content that resonates with our audience.

• Assist in developing and implementing social media advertising campaigns.

• Assist in data analysis and reporting of digital product marketing efforts.

• Create content with videos and photographs

• Respond to DMs, comments, and engagement

• Edit videos

• Research and stay on top of social media trends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong analytical mindset with acute attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exposure to digital marketing domain areas – Website builders, SEO, SEM, Social Insights and Analytics 

• Graphic design experience

Skill Requirements:

  • Project management skills, working with cross-functional teams.

  • Analytical skills; fluent with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Knowledge and experience with Photoshop and Publisher preferred

  • Excellent oral and written communications, proven project management expertise; demonstrated success with multi-tasking & juggling multiple priorities.

  • Assist in ensuring proactive planning, marketing & communication of events.

  •  Assists in content & marketing development.

  • Assist with creating, editing and publishing content & marketing development to the website & all digital platforms, primarily for the events and marketing departments.

  • Self-starter who takes initiative, highly reliable

  • Polished and professional when dealing with clients, prospective clients, sponsors, and executive management. 

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment; flexible
